Remembering Pinetop Perkins

Last night the great Pinetop Perkins one of the last, maybe the last, of the great barrelhouse blues piano players passed away quietly in his sleep at 97 years of age. He recorded his first solo cd in his eighties, Portrait of a Delta Bluesman, produced by our own George Kilby Jr.. Keep the music alive - check out Pine, his solo work, and his years with Muddy Waters and introduce a friend to this late legend.
